| Bar Manager - Venue Bar - London- GBP35,000 Title: Bar Operations Manager Salary: GBP35,000 Location: London Please note: you must have worked in a venue/theatre bar as a manager. The Venue A fantastic busy, buzzy venue with lots of different performances every night. The Role To manage the transfer of bar operations from the current contracted caterer to in-house operation. To lead the Bars team in delivering a brand-aligned, customer-focused experience, achieving targets and maximizing sales and business development opportunities. Identifying potential sources of new business and examining and implementing strategies to create Bars as a destination for visitors outside of performances. Work closely with the Health and Safety Manager to ensure that all statutory regulations and responsibilities are met in order to maintain a safe environment for all staff, customers, suppliers and contractors. The Perfect Candidate Proven ability to develop business ideas and plans aimed at maximising profit. Able to create and manage stock control systems and accurately maintain the records. Able to lead a team and set up the bar pre-show and work extremely quickly during bar peak times. You must be very outgoing and have a big personality. Experience of working within a similar quality-orientated pub, retail & bar services organisation. |
