Italy in 34th Havana International Trade Fair

As on previous years, the ICE- Office of the Italian Trade Agency, this time through the recently created Office in Havana, has the pleasure of organizing the participation of Italian companies in the 34th Havana International Trade Fair (FIHAV). You will always be able to find us in our traditional Pavilion 22 of Expocuba during the days in which the fair will be held.

The Italian pavilion will take up an area of 1,100 m2, in which a total of 86 companies will be on display distributed in the following way:

• 47 companies participating individually.
• 28 companies represented through consortiums and association of companies.
• 7 consortiums and associations of companies.
• 3 chamber of commerce representations.
• ICE-Havana Office.

The most represented sectors, ranging from equipment to consumer goods, are the technologies and materials for construction, installations and machineries (packaging, bottling, water-air treatment), electronic equipment and installations for data transmission, furniture, energy and environment, oil and gas, food and agriculture, cosmetics, logistics and transportation services. Of course each one of the Italian companies with exhibitions have respected the maxim of bring the best and of the best quality from Made in Italy, at the level of world standards.
Moreover, we have designed another participation modality, a Catalogue-technique service, through the presentation in the national catalogue and its catalogues of non-exhibiting Italian companies, which will allow us to make known their products and services and take note of the possible interests of the Cuban and/or foreign clients present in FIHAV 2016.
This is a novelty we are carrying out for the first time for the Havana International Trade Fair, as well as the programming of lectures given by prestigious Cuban authorities about topics of interest for Italian businesspeople. Our aim as Office is that each year we be able to provide our companies more and better personalized services for an efficient projection and introduction in the Cuban market.
The ICE Havana will have an information stands at the entrance to Pavilion 22, in which you will find interesting and new information about the Italian market and its potentials that can perfectly contribute to fitting into the development lines designed by the Cuban authorities. In this sense, during the event we will be available to organize working meetings with the Italian exhibitors.
The National Day will be celebrated on Tuesday November 1 at noon in Pavilion 22, for which we are expecting the participation of all the Italian companies present in FIHAV. We are extending this invitation to all the Italian companies present or not in Pavilion 22 and to all those interested in the Cuban market. Moreover, we are expecting that the Cuban authorities and companies will be accompanying us in this transcendental moment.
The 34th edition of FIHAV will be the climax for the Italian companies of all the commercial promotion activities we have carried out during 2016 and at the same time the point of departure for the 2017 activities. We are surely auguring that the participation of Italian companies in FIHAV will be an important success which once again will reaffirm the interest in strengthening bilateral economic-commercial relations.
