This expansion announcement was made today at the official opening ceremony of Travelodge’s 522nd hotel opening in Wood Green, in the borough of Haringey.

The trio of hotels all feature the next generation of the company’s ‘Travelodgical’ contemporary room design. The upgraded rooms feature the luxurious king size Travelodge Dreamer bed, with bedside USB charging points, new softer LED ceiling lighting - giving the room a warmer feel and a Samsung 32-inch digital television .
All hotels offer family, double and accessible rooms and the new family rooms offer individual beds for children. Rooms are priced from £49 and can be booked at www.travelodge.co.uk
Bryn Taylor, Travelodge Regional Director for South East: “North London is a key growth area for Travelodge, as there is a big shortage of branded hotels and customers are crying out for more good quality and low-cost places to stay at across the region.
“Therefore to meet this growing demand we are actively looking for 11 new hotel sites across North London. This investment will also create great career opportunities within the community and boost the local economy, as our research shows Travelodge customers will annually spend around £2m with local businesses during their stay.”
