Rice, butter, onions, marrow, Indian curry, Arab dates and daikon have been mixed to make anyone tasting this new risotto happy
Three chefs amongst Italy’s best joined their hands to create a special dish celebrating the Milan World Expo, which will take place next year.
On May 10th, 2014, Carlo Cracco, Davide Oldani and Andrea Berton presented to food-lovers their innovative version of “risotto”: their original recipe interprets an old classic from Lombardy culinary tradition adding to the usual ingredients new ones that will make it a global delicacy. Rice, butter, onions and marrow will be paired with Indian curry, Arab dates and daikon, a popular East Asia radish. The result is a treat, which will make anyone tasting it happy: that is why the three chefs decided to name it “Risata”, the Italian word for “laugh”.
