Swedish retailer H&M will debut in the Philippines in the third quarter of this year.
Its first location will be at SM Megamall’s Mega Fashion Hall in Mandaluyong City.
According to H&M Philippines PR manager, Dan Mejia, the first store will span more than 3000 sqm and will carry a wide assortment of H&M’s collection for women, men, kids and teenagers.
Since the third quarter is a cooler season in the Philippines, H&M will feature its autumn-winter collection when it opens.
Mejia says they see the Philippines as a very interesting market with a huge potential.
“One of our aims at H&M is to surprise the customer and exceed market expectations,” Mejia said.
