Alfredo’s Fettuccine Day
It is not known the reason why Americans have identified in February 7th “the National Fettuccine Alfredo Day”, known all over the world, while we know for sure that the famous dish was born in February 26th, 1908: this date coincides with another birthday, the one of the first-born of Alfredo Di Lelio, called Alfredo I, the brilliant creator of the famous pasta, cooked for the first time with the intent to create a nutritious dish for his wife who had recently given birth.
Through this press release, Family Di Lelio communicates about such event and informs that, in the day “dedicated by the United States”, has decided to join the celebration of the famous fettuccine Alfredo, recalling its 116 years story, of culinary art and family tradition carried on by Alfredo I and by his only heirs Alfredo II and Alfredo III, in Italy in the restaurant of Piazza Augusto Imperatore in Rome and in the world with the opening of franchising covered by the original brand.
