BUYBRAND Expo is ranked among the TOP 5 world trade fairs in the franchising sector. With 13 years of running, the event has contributed to the launch of over 14 000 franchising companies in Russia and the CIS.

The business community chooses to invest into well-proven franchises rather than starting a business from scratch. This is confirmed by the fact that the exhibition attendance has become greater by about a third over the past two years.

- about 1,500 franchising companies and 50,000 companies opened on a franchise basis in Russia today.

- The Russian Franchise Association (RFA) analyzes the potential of franchising companies for growth at 400,000 points, while their contribution in Russia's GDP at 500 billion rubles a year by 2020.

- The coming 2018 FIFA World Cup creates excellent opportunities for a broader role of private investors in the infrastructure projects for cities that host the championship, by launching franchised food, retail and service outlets, and hotels.

The participation has been confirmed by such brands as Hilton Worldwide, Wyndham Hotel Group, Burger King, INVITRO, COFFEESHOP, Century 21, MINIBOSS BUSINESS SCHOOL, Surf’n’Fries, Domino's Pizza, Sportmaster, Shokoladnitsa, MOSIGRA, Weekender, TRAVELER'S COFFEE, Il Patio and many others.

IMG 6533Additionally, BUYBRAND Expo will feature a variety of concepts for mobile business – from a coffee shop to mobile sauna, as well as a wide array of vans and equipment to them, hydraulic and cleaning trolleys and more.

This is the first event to be carried out in two parallel formats – in the online and offline modes. This will be enabled by the innovative EXPOWL exhibition platform developed by EMTG, organizer of the exhibition. "This is a completely new milestone in the evolution of the global exhibition industry," Yekaterina Soyak, General Director of EMTG, says. "The platform, which we have developed for our exhibitors and visitors, opens up new prospects in promotion practices and in the search for new business concepts. It will help engage much more entrepreneurs in negotiations and events on our business program. It will also attract new partners from around the world and boost the conversion out of participation."

The Expowl platform is expected to facilitate the access to the exhibition for a minimum of 17,000 entrepreneurs from Russia, CIS countries and from abroad. The total investment potential of visitors can amount to more than $1 billion. For example, the figure was $801.4 million, according to the visitor survey in 2015.
